Rugged, high-capacity, sealed interconnects range grows
TE Connectivity has added Deutsch DTSK single-pole power connectors to its range, designed for rugged, sealed applications.
The heavy-duty thermoplastic connectors accept size 8mm diameter contacts rated up to 125 amps.
The connectors are designed to withstand the harsh conditions of the freight, buses, agricultural, mining, construction and marine industries, plus other industrial applications.
Designed with ease of use and simplicity in mind, the DTSK connectors have latch-style mating and an integrated secondary lock.
Individual wire seals with a rear protective cover help protect the connections from dirt, dust and water ingress, making the connectors an effective option for applications that require an environmentally sealed connector.
The connectors can be used inline or mounted as pass-through connectors with the addition of an optional flange.
“There aren’t many single-pole, sealed power connectors available in the industrial and commercial vehicle and equipment market that can be used for inline or pass-through applications,” says Jean-Paul Gervais, Product Manager for TE’s Industrial & Commercial Transportation business.
TE’s Deutsch DTSK single-pole connectors are designed to connect power in a variety of applications, specifically offering the ease of connecting and disconnecting in safer and more accessible areas than at the power source itself.
