Team Ticketer keeps growing

As Ticketer prepares to celebrate 10 years in business, the company has added two new senior appointments to the team, with another key member re-entering the fold after maternity leave.

They join a business that has grown from just three employees a decade ago to employing over 80 today.

With the international side of the business starting to take off, Antonio Carmona has been appointed as General Manager, International.

Team Ticketer Keeps Growing

He brings 15 years’ experience to the business, having worked with cities and mobility operators across the world to put innovation at the heart of public transport. As he leads the international expansion of the business, he will work with the rest of the team to build market awareness in targeted geographies.

John Clarfelt, Ticketer MD says: “Antonio will play a key role in ensuring that all Ticketer products are tailored to a range of exciting new territories, and that we have the right resources in place to expand our presence globally, with the same focus on customer support as we already have in the UK.”

Ticketer has also recently appointed Sheryll Ricketts as Head of Passenger Solutions, looking after all Ticketer’s passenger facing services.

John Clarfelt comments: “Sheryll is the person responsible for leading our additional focus on the passenger; looking to drive more passengers onto Public Transport and to add a sprinkle of Ticketer innovation to every passenger’s day.

“Luckily for us she is ideally suited to the role as she matches our passion for putting the operator and the passenger at the heart of everything we do.”

Sheryll has over 15 years’ experience in the transport ticketing industry, having been involved in many exciting projects over the years including delivery of ITSO, Contactless EMV and mobile ticketing systems. She says that she is so happy to work for a company with a mission to exceed expectation and make a real difference to people’s lives.

Sally Whitson re-joins the team at a very exciting time following the birth of her second child.

As Head of Marketing, Sally is Ticketer’s marketing guru, leading the company’s marketing strategy, brand management and content creation.

Although her impressive CV includes global brands like Samsung Electronics and Barclays, Sally says that she has never worked anywhere like Ticketer before, where people work so incredibly hard, but have so much fun along the way.
