Novadata, one of the UK’s leading transport training providers, tachograph analysis experts and specialist product retailers, has appointed Darren Thomas to the position of Sales Manager within the organisation.

He joins Novadata from David Watson Transport, where he also held the position of Sales Manager, leading the national sales team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in sales and logistics, gained over more than 20 years in roles in both the transport and healthcare sectors.

Darren’s new role at Novadata will encompass spearheading its sales activity; managing customer relationships; serving key accounts; and helping to develop Novadata’s expanding specialist transport product range. He will also provide general management support, assisting in the strategic development of the company.

Su Winch, Managing Director for Novadata said, “We are delighted to welcome Darren to the team. He brings not only vast experience of the transport sector, but also a great eye for detail and an innovative approach to business. As these are already part of Novadata’s DNA, we expect him to feel very much at home while helping to make a great contribution to our future.”

Darren commented, “I am really excited to be working for Novadata, who are well known and respected throughout the transport industry, and I look forward to getting to know our customers and working with a fantastic team.”

Darren can be reached by phone on 01376 552999 or by email at darren@novadata.co.uk.
