Movitas compact electric planned for 2021 production
The battery-electric Movitas was the eye-catcher among the vehicles displayed at Busworld by Dutch company Tribus.
The Dutch minibus manufacturer, founded in 1998 and based in Utrecht, explained the design for the electric Movitas, scheduled to go into production is scheduled in 2021.
The full electric city bus has a complete flat floor and is developed in co-operation with Haverkamp Engineering and Steketee Design.
The compact electric bus is modular build and its length could vary between 8.2m, 8.95m and 9.7 m.
The Movitas contains many sustainable solutions to reduce energy consumption. It has four-wheel steering, a heat pump, and well-insulated double-glazing.
